Cooper has been trending in the right direction all week since he lost Sunday's victory over the New York Giants due to a sprained left ankle and a concussion

He authorized the concussion protocol on Wednesday and then practiced it on a limited basis on Friday.

Sources of the team told ESPN 'Dan Graziano' that the Raiders had entered Friday with the impression that Cooper was not going for the practice and as a result will miss Sunday's Game.

Cooper went to the trainers, and said he would try to practice, and agreed to see how he did.

He participated in the practice and "seemed good enough", According to a source.

'Cooper', who has 42 catches for 499 yards, and five touchdowns this season, was injured on a hit by 'Broncos' safety 'Darian Stewart' that was flagged for unnecessary roughness during the 'Raiders' 21-14 win over Denver on Nov. 26.

In the 31-30 loss of the Raiders to the Chiefs on October 19, Cooper had 11 receptions for a career total of 210 yards and two touchdowns.
